At the Cliff House, Steffy remembered walking in on her husband and Hope. Finn threw his arms around Steffy, excited to spend his free morning with his lovely wife. However, Steffy had two meetings in a row but needed to confirm certain details concerning Hope before heading to work. Finn acknowledged Steffy’s feelings and understood that she believed Hope was manipulating him. Steffy stated that Hope had previously used men, specifically Liam and Thomas, and now Finn. Steffy emphasized that the less time he spent with the perplexed Hope, the better.

Meanwhile, Hope informed Brooke in her cabin that Beth had stayed home from daycare due to a virus. Brooke was there because their conversation about Finn had left her uneasy. Hope stated that she believed Finn was the most amazing man she’d ever known, and Steffy didn’t appreciate him. Hope didn’t think Finn was truly happy in his marriage. Brooke insisted that Hope could not speak about Finn in that way. It was good that Hope had a friend to confide in, but that’s all it was. Brooke warned Hope not to let her heart rule her intellect, fearing that things could spiral out of control without her knowledge. After Brooke left, Beth appeared and said she was feeling terrible. Hope volunteered to take Beth to the doctor, but Beth was too sick to go. Hope called Beth’s doctor, but he couldn’t see her until the following day. Hope then called Finn, describing Beth’s symptoms and mentioning that her doctor couldn’t see her. She inquired whether Finn thought it could wait or if Beth should go to urgent care. Finn decided to come over despite Hope’s protests.

Later, Finn arrived with his medical bag. Hope smiled as she observed Finn’s kind approach to determining Beth’s symptoms. Finn administered a shot, hoping that vitamins and a moderate steroid would rapidly alleviate the symptoms. He gave Beth a cartoon band-aid and told her to take her medication and rest. Beth gradually improved, and her fever subsided. Finn referred to her as a star patient and made her pinky promise to keep it up. Hope appeared moved as he carried Beth to bed. When Finn returned, Hope made him tea and expressed her gratitude for his actions, saying how much it meant to her and her mother. It reminded Hope of what a remarkable man Finn was.

Meanwhile, Carter and Ridge met in Eric’s office to discuss the budget, and Ridge mentioned his interest in speaking with Hope about her line. Carter noted that Ridge was not acting like someone who wanted to focus solely on design. Ridge admitted it was still his intention, but he didn’t want the burden to fall on Steffy. Carter offered to assist, but Ridge had someone else in mind—Brooke. Ridge confirmed it but said she had turned him down. Ridge had asked Brooke before telling Steffy because he knew she wouldn’t like it. When Brooke arrived, Carter informed her about Ridge’s idea. She hoped Ridge didn’t think she had abandoned him. Ridge admitted he hadn’t given up on her yet. Steffy came in and asked why Brooke was there. Ridge explained that it was about Brooke’s impact on the business and his desire to spotlight her again.

Ridge suggested photo shoots and a campaign featuring Brooke, flipping a sheet off a photo of her in red lingerie flanked by models. He believed Brooke brought magic to the line and had more to give. Brooke was hesitant, feeling too old for the role, but Ridge insisted, calling her timeless and ageless. He urged her to take on the bedroom line again. Brooke eventually agreed, despite Steffy’s evident discomfort.

Later, Steffy expressed her concerns about Hope spending time with Finn. She had a flashback to seeing her husband and Hope at the Cliff House. Finn tried to reassure Steffy, respecting her feelings and agreeing that Hope had a history of manipulating men. Steffy insisted it was best for Finn to spend as little time as possible with Hope.
